Hello there my name is Bernard the TSLP Paint Shop manager.

I have been instructed by my Boss, Rigsby to set this new thread up for basic CC updates and CC release.
Mostly new content but some old stuff will be added to this thread in due course.

And that’s it really. Something I believe Lee wanted when setting up His original TSLP news, update thread.

So I will hope you enjoy the new thread and all the new exciting content coming soon, even formations.
I will also be open to any livery suggestions or requests from the community.

    Thanks.
    Bernard.

PS. The above is a fictional character called Bernard. It’s no illusion to suggest it is a real person or community member as it is me Rigsby, my forum name and Lee, the soft guy. Me.
All me. So yes it’s just for role playing purposes that’s all.

    Content will follow very shortly.

    Thank you.
    Rigsby.

    Something for the future. IMG_3297.jpeg IMG_3298.jpeg IMG_3299.jpeg
Im a very strong advocate for supporting and helping bring awareness to the issues some may face.

So the livery you see is in work in progress with more updates available nearing its completion.
The inspiration behind 66 013 is from what GBRf is officially doing currently with their fleet of Class 69s.

    Bernard.

    Anyone Mad for it?.

    Calling all Oasis Fans.
    IMG_2686.jpeg IMG_2685.jpeg IMG_2687.jpeg IMG_2688.jpeg
    (WIP).

The inspiration for 801 216 is well I am an Oasis Fan and a Blur one;) Plus I heard the news on the Great Vine:) (Classic Track) that LNER will be operating a special service planned for around 25 July 2025. The 09:00 Edinburgh to London Kings Cross is to be named for this special occasion for Oasis fans travelling down to the Oasis Wembley Concert.

So why not add my own special way as an Oasis fan by doing my own version of “She’s Electric”. Man I was a kid when that tune came out.

Shame it won’t “Live Forever” or is that a “Definitely Maybe” lol.

    Bernard.

This has been so much fun doing. I Thank DTG for adding formation designer, it’s opens up so many possibilities and opportunities to work with such talented CC creators such as Speedfreak.

I thank you for your support and encouragement in such a delightful area of rail industry.

It’s a real pleasure to be part of such an exciting time of creation.

but looking back. you did use the ermewa wagons which in real life are only accessible for EU rail

the difference is in the UIC number 37 TEN 84 NL-ERSA 5375 115-8 is for the NETHERLANDS the one with F-ERSA is from FRANCE. and the ones with GB-ERSA / GBRF etc are for the UK in real life wagons in the UK are equipped with narrower axles because the track in the EU is a bit wider I believe.
so realistically RNPS 7,8 and 10 is for UK, 9 and 6 for EU

although there are wagons that can run on the EU track as well as on the track in the UK think of the EUROTUNNEL in the end this is and remains a game and theoretically ERMEWA operates a lot in the UK as EU it is just like many others just wagon leasing company

Thanks Dude, photography has always been a passion of mine. And like anything I believe everything has work together.
I mean you work hard so why take bog standard pictures that could let your work down.
So if quality is in the work then good photos are a must to show that quality through out every step. From the first decal to the last photo.

    It must alway speak quality.
Your work is quality so why let that hard work down with lazy photo work.

You share the same passion as me, so I don’t want to let you down or myself.
If you look at the first photo I was trying to play around to find a model toy look. You will see the difference between the shots.

Our little model railway. Something I have on Transport Fever 2 and will definitely have on Transport Fever 3.
I wish DTG and Hornby would make a model building game with the same look as we have now.
Buy loco DLCs as models to add to your collection.

DTG treat locos like Models. Get Hornby make the models, and DTG make the tracks and routes.
Mix and Match. I have said this to them for ages.

So why I’m trying to create that effect in some photos work.

I play. A Big Kid, with an eye for perfection.

It’s fun, I absolutely love it all.

So I’m glad I have a playmate who likes to play with Trains:)
Like at play school then we are always told to be kind and share.

I’m just being a good little boy:) lol.

    Cheers man.

    Rigsby.

Right okay, you see that is a sign of my lack of understanding and knowledge.

So I will do better research or check with you first before assembling a new formation.
You see I am totally aware of what you explain yet I’m not sure what I’m looking for to pick the differences up.
    Lack of knowledge.

But don’t worry I can try fix that first formation or make a second formation as TSLPF1a.
It’s why I labelled it A Test Run. Nothing fancy for my first attempt.

I’m glad you have told me tho, I’d rather be corrected than do something wrong.
Just want you to know you and anyone can always tell me straight if I am doing something wrong.

I will always listen to those that know more than me and you do.
So yes I’ll double check with you next time:)
Yet man last night I felt so proud. Looked closely at your work and man, thats some grafting you do.
Seriously impressive, you can see the focus one needs to make the create that realistic look.

In fact if you want throw us another simple GBRf unit and I will make a clean version to go with the new look of your GBRf Wagons.
Then I’ll will make a correct formation for us.

    How does that sound?.

    Rigsby.

I see now. I’ll double check these things. I think I was rushing because I was all excited:)

I’ll short this out then soon.

    Thanks Brother.

As the CC describes the inspiration behind 66 730 “Thomas” came from reading up on what GBRTT blog Teams was upto.
I am very interested in the new look of how a re nationalised BR would look like.
Why I have my own GBRR or Great British Rail Resurgence so I could have a play around with the idea.

But I must respect that BR Arrow Logo. And its original designer.

Which will lead me on to 66 733 “Gerald Lawrence Barney” the Man and the person behind such an iconic Logo.
It’s perfect so why touch the actual BR arrow. Try complementing the logo not scribbling all over it.

More to come on this subject.
For now the TSLP Paint Shops hope you Enjoy our latest Reskin.

    Bernard.

    Respect that Icon!.

I believe the creator of the BR logo is not too happy on how is work is being handled or treated.
I am very aware of this fact. So what you’re about to see is WIP only.

Toying around with a few concepts ideas. Even with a touch of British Airways to blend both GB modes of transportation.
    A National identity.

    Here is me playing.
    IMG_3948.jpeg IMG_3946.jpeg IMG_3947.jpeg

I will keep my mouth closed for this one tho, I’d would love to hear your thoughts and opinions about this work.
I’d love it the man himself seen this and passed comment. The BR logo is His so why not hear Gerald’s voice.

It’s open for discussion before I finalise anything.

    Bernard.

    Announcement for upcoming release.

    This will be TSLP200X for 390 00X WAS 390 005.

One or two things need the additional adjustments, then one big push for the text. If I have what I need available to me after placing text, then this livery might be delayed. It’s due for official release soon tho as it’s now being logged and coded.

    Announcement for upcoming release.

    This will be TSLP211 for 801 217.

Reskin name, 801 217 “SILVER FOX” Set 217.

Again need to add text to the logo but need to find decals from some where. Very limited as the LNER font is all hand written style which takes lot of decals up. So that is what’s holding this reskin from being released today.

    Busy busy:)

    TSLP Paint Shop Announces.

The Shop will be closed for a day or two in order to ensure delivery times.
In this time there will be no new product announcements or any other information or updates for any previous content mentioned, outside of the current R200 Team Project. That being any new product announcement will only be related to R200.

As I am sure some of you may be aware of the TSLP Paint Shop plans and this will take some time.
So the doors are closed yet we’re still working away in order to meet quality standards and targets set.

For the TSLP Paint Shop wants the absolute best for our clients and customers.

    The companies number one mission.
To provide the best quality fictional and non fictitious (Edit) work.

    Bye for now.
    Bernard.

So yep I will get some photos done for CC to be available for tomorrow.

Don’t usually work on EMU etc as I worry about TOPs for the set numbers etc. I didn’t need to do any of that working on this 350.
A real pleasure as a quick break from font writing or art work.

I do find the shape of the blue mark of interest as the full reskins hasn’t been finished.
But if you look here on a test model where the line would sit for different routes and sectors as I’d be keeping the BR logo as normal bit change to suit operations and districts. Simple shapes, simple colours saves on time and save on cost.
Clean sleek and modern. IMG_2639.jpeg under the green you will see where that blue line from the 350 would sit, now look and is the shame shape I’ve recently seen on a photo of a GBR livery coming soon. The nose will even have an England flag but crushed.

So for me as a creator and lover of art and design this is an absolutely amazing time.

Thank you GBR, and the GBRTT for making this an exciting experience for me as I’m sure it will be for others.

I forgot what fun’s was for a while. So this was fun and so is the LMS vs LNER.

Just wish Mister Mystery was here.

    Bernard.

Now a few photos. They are mixed but it’s so you can see my second vision unfolding.

To single-handedly rebuild BR corporate identity. But with a technical twist.
One that would mean never to worry about service operations fleet issue due a set identity, and to never have to fully rebrand a fleet ever again. More on that soon tho. For now I will leave you with the photos to do the rest of the explaining:).

If you want something, build it.

I’d like to say that a missing Team member Jplays was crucial in getting what we see today. Hence why I’ve included His 390 016 Tribute livery.
    IMG_4086.jpeg IMG_4085.jpeg IMG_4084.jpeg IMG_4087.jpeg IMG_4088.jpeg

So yes this is for MM.

TG08 it should put you on for now:) More to come tho, and not easy work either.

Keep your eyes peeled for more TSLP content coming in the next week or so.

Announcement of bulk work due for release.

Due to a personal issue work had to be reduced or at least simplified.
Work I’ve had on hold or planned to do has now been rolled on in reference to GBR concept work.

I have around 11 liveries possibly even more backed up. These are just GBR with around 5 for the R200 Project on top of those the other 11.
So expect some work being placed out in throughout today. I can then put GBR back on hold and hopefully pick up where I was a few days ago:)

Hopefully this will be on of those that goes out today.

    Thank you.

    Work shop announcement.

As some will now the TSLP Paint Shop has had a few issues over the last few days. For example no information on release have been published from this thread.

So for the latest releases please go to this thread.
    https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/the-gbr-concept-liveries.91733/

I’ve been uploading mostly GBR work so the information has been wrongly released from the GBR concept thread.
All releases should be available here.

    My apology for inconvenience caused.

    Barnard.

    Back to work.

Feel some discomfort with such a huge electrical charge close by:)

    IMG_4423.jpeg
Before where all decal placement test photos so now redoing logos and detailing before releasing.
The TSLP paint shop needs to clear a back log. And the LMS art work ain’t gonna be easy so I need a clear mind.
That I can’t have with work laying around.

So got to pull my socks up, and up a little more for the challenge head.

    Bernard.

She’s been way delayed but She’s due for arrival any time soon.

A QC test and She’s done. Nearly;)

IMG_4475.jpeg IMG_4476.jpeg IMG_4477.jpeg IMG_4478.jpeg Each coach will be named after a single release for ease of passenger information and a little gimmick for Oasis fans. They can remember that day by what coach they went on. As a laugh I was going to turn the shop carriage into a big cigarette for the song “Cigarettes and Alcohol” as again these items where the only items to be sold on that one off special service. I doubt it would sit well with LNER public image so I’ve packed that idea in. It’s one reason I’ve left it quite plan and simple as again I doubt a large amount of money would be spent on the real service and the risk of playing around to much with LNER stuff. Then I’ve left it basic but with a purpose to that service.

A slight delay for “LNER She’s Electric”

    IMG_4565.jpeg
    IMG_4567.jpeg IMG_4566.jpeg IMG_4568.jpeg IMG_4569.jpeg
Added a few more Oasis logos and now Oasis Fan Club. I’ve emailed them asking for support and permission.
    Just waiting a response now.

Other than that then she’s good to go:)

    Coming soon, maybe:)

We have 385 102 in Thameside Regional colours.

Reskin name, TSLP385/102 Concept GBR TS. OVN.
    IMG_4557.jpeg IMG_4558.jpeg
it’s good to go (Edit) so should be available soon.

    And now for R200 content.
At the moment it’s hard to give any accurate information about R200 releases due to an unforeseen project related issue.
More information and details will be provided when the information becomes available.

Away from R200 Project any work that’s been provided thus so far is livery work by me or recreated as a CC creator.
Meaning I will still continue as a CC creator.
Yet with some upcoming work I may retain for my own personal projects or only give certain members rights to my work for any other publications away or outside of DTG T&C.

So I’ve made 37 401 “Mary Queen of Scots” with a few added logos to mark its appearance at the Greatest Gathering.
I’m also making further enquiries about the official Greatest Gathering logo.

37 401 sat along side 37 501. Both due to be at the Real Greatest Gathering operational needs permitting.
401 sent by Locomotive Services Group and 501 by Rail Operations Group (ROG).
    IMG_4563.jpeg IMG_4559.jpeg IMG_4564.jpeg
This reskin will be on hold for the time being until any complications can be dealt within the R200 Project.

PLEASE NOTE: Work created away from R200 will not be affected by this unfortunate situation and so have no restrictions put in place, (Edit) and will be released to CC in due course.

I am sorry to inform my readers of this situation but I do hope to have it all resolved soon.
For my own personal reasons and for anyone else involved with R200 Project.

    Thank you.
    Rigsby.

    And now for the rest.

A few to add to what was yesterday’s list release to clear a back log of work.

So kicking off with 66 141 “In the Army Now” a pun on a Staus Quo song I remembered as a child and still to do this day.
And a possible new HOOKHAUL MILITRA branding from the HH Group.

Product Reskin name. TSLP150. 66 141 “In the Army Now” HHM. OVU.
    Cat/Job No: TSLP150F1YUL5R5OR1EDPBD.
    Livery Link: https://creatorsclub.dovetailgames.com/creations/222264

    IMG_4718.jpeg IMG_4716.jpeg IMG_4717.jpeg IMG_4722.jpeg IMG_4720.jpeg

There is also a Formation available under TSLP/F2 “In Formation” which is based on the new cargo military volume pack 4.
Just in the small time I’ve had playing around with the new vol 4 CMP it’s added some extra buzz when seeing or driving the lead unit of such a formation. Why I thought I’d create 66 141 “In the Army Now” and try adding to that extra buzz feeling.
