The Valley Lines are a network of routes which converge at Cardiff Central, serving towns such as Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Radyr, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhymney, Aberdare, Coryton, Ebbw Vale and Treherbert. The look of the lines and services operated over them have changed throughout the years, with most of the collieries these lines once served having closed in the last 40 years, although the colliery at Cwmbargoed is still open and still has a well used rail connection. The stock I propose to include is listed below based on what operator runs them CrossCountry Class 170/1 with Air Dam DB Schenker Class 66/0 with HAA Wagons for Cwmbargoed Colliery - Margam/ Earles Sidings/Port Talbot Steel Works Great Western Railway Class 800 ‘IET’ (9car and 5car sets) Transport for Wales Rail Class 150/2 in TfW livery and Ex-ATW livery Class 143 in Ex-ATW livery Class 153/3 and /9 in TfW livery Class 170/2 in TfW livery Class 175/0 and /1 in TfW livery and Ex-ATW livery
If you are having trains in TfW livery then there would not be any HAA Coal Wagons on the colliery runs You missed off the Freightliner 66/5 and trains that pass thru Cardiff Central. The GWR 165/166 that work to Cardiff The Cross Country 170s that work in to Cardiff And the TfW 769s Taken on the 10 Aug 2021 Peter
