I made a quick tabel of all the ICEs that are missing in Train Sim World, including some important data, since we already have a few of them. Others that are also missing are left out because in my opinion, they are not requiered in this game, or are being developed outside of DTG, but still for TSW. DB CLASS----NAME---------------AMOUNT OF CARS---APPROXIMATE LENGTH----SEATS-----------TOP SPEED 402--------------ICE 2----------------8----------------------------205m-------------------------------381-----------------280 km/h 411--------------ICE T-----------------7----------------------------185m-------------------------------359, 376-----------230 km/h 412--------------ICE 4-----------------7, 12, 13------------------202m, 346m, 374m------------444, 830, 918-----250 km/h 415--------------ICE T-----------------5----------------------------133m------------------------------250-----------------230 km/h This looks like a rather small pack, considering its just three generations of the ICE, but it is still a lot for the whole game, to see them layer into the timetables of all the routes ICEs drive on. On a side note, why does the ICE 1 not drive on Köln-Aachen??? Price of the DLC could be, in DTGs style, about 29,99€, however I think it could rather be on 19,99€, it seems more fair to me. (the class 411 has two values for seats because it is for series one and series two) this feels like a low effort post but it could gain some attraction at some point
It's not a small pack. All of them are different from each other. All those would be either part of a route or loco dlcs, but not a bundle because they all are different in terms of modeling, physics and sound. The ice1 can't just sub into skas ice unit since ice1 is a locomotive, not an emu. It would require the timetable to be rebuilt if there's no space for the ice1. Also can't sub in different lengths.
411 415 fits on Riesa-Dresden since it runs ICE line 50 Wiesbaden Hbf Frankfurt Flughafen & Hauptbahnhof Fulda Bebra Gerstungen Erfurt Leipzig Riesa Dresden Hbf. Think of DB BR 411 & 415 as the tilt of 612 combined with 15kv 16.7hz of all German electric routes.
I mean, that's right and wrong at the same time. It's a power car. You can drive it solo, but it's made for that special consist.
Doesn't look like a small pack at all. Remember each car that has a different exterior or interior is a separate asset, so each one has to be made, implemented and loaded separately just to form one consist. As an example (taken from wikipedia because I don't know the train specifically) "Class 411 - The second (411.1), third (411.2), fifth (411.7) and sixth (411.6) cars are motorised, while the end cars (411.0 and 411.5) carry transformers supplying the next two cars. Thus each train consists of two power units of three coaches plus one unpowered middle car (411.8). The middle car can be removed, and theoretically the trains can be supplemented with an additional middle car." So even if there are no other differences, the ICE-T is actually three different assets, each end car, three motorised coaches and one non-motorised coach Do that for each class of ICE and you might begin to see that it's definitely not a "small pack" you're suggesting
