Some Friday fun, inspired by a post on another thread. Enjoy... Bug report - There’s a cow in the caboose. Devs reply - Clinchfield always ran with a cow in the caboose. Armchair expert - It was Norfolk Southern that ran with a cow in the caboose, Clinchfield had chickens. Peter - the TS version has chickens. TS is better. Bug report - The cow is missing on PS4. Armchair expert - Federal Railroad Regulation 6.2.4 banned all caboose based wildlife in 1976. As this route is set in 1978 there shouldn’t be a cow there, even though it was chickens in real life. The PS4 version is actually correct. Devs reply - Armchair expert is correct about it not being a cow but not the date. It should have been chickens in the caboose but they were allowed in the caboose up until 1982 on some branch lines by special arrangement. The team are looking to replace the cow with chickens and a patch should be released within a week or two. Frustrated Console User - Will the chickens be in the PS4 version? Devs reply - Unfortunately there won’t be any chickens on PS4 as we are still experiencing issues... with layers. Boom, there’s the punchline. Goodnight.
I hope the pending engine updates allow more layers through better optimisation. We’ve been waiting a long time to get the HMA layers. I hope that wait isn’t in vain.
