From the beginning dtg has been releasing one bugged filled tsw dlc after another and when they try to update it with a fix they offen end up breaking things that weren't broke before hand.So why do we keep buying these bearley tested dlc disasters? They said their goal was to learn from their mistakes and not repeat them, well that plan derailed along time ago.
It’s very frustrating that each route has a wide range of issues. It’s even more frustrating that it’s the same type of issue over and over again. For whatever reason, they cannot release anything bug free and I suspect the reason is the speed they rush stuff out. Fewer, higher quality releases is what is needed, but whoever is in charge at DTG doesn’t think this way.
I don't ever see dtg ever releasing a bug free dlc...but it be nice to see less bugs in there dlc at release, then at least it seem like they care a tiny bit about doing things better with each dlc.But maybe that's just asking for too much.
Well I for one am not automatically rushing to buy every DLC. Neither the Harlem line and Sursee particularly interest me, nor does the forthcoming HSC but there might have been a time when I would have bought them out of habit. Harlem is already getting reports of timetable/stuck trains etc issues and I already had a gutful of that on BML, Riesa and any other route with complex service patterns. Sursee is too short with an uninteresting modern train and from the preview stream reports appears to have major lighting issues. I'm now looking at the March madness sale to see what I might like to add to my classic TS collection.
This was basically that the windows are too tinted. Not major lighting issue, more that the windows are too dark (when they went outside the lighting was fine)
just passed 1300 hr gameplay recently, bought every dlc for first few years, bugs started becoming more prevalent, sat last 4 out now and will until things pick up
They may not have been broken , but could be improved . There’s no harm in improving something even if it isn’t broken Pun intended ?
