On the Bosten Sprinter DLC (before the February 2023 update), you can get a wayside signal showing a yellow over double flashing green (video) aspect. Does anyone know if this is just a malfunction or is there more to it?
Yeah, at least for NORAC signaling (which Amtrak and MBTA use here), that is not a valid signal aspect. The closest correct aspect you can have is yellow/*green*/dark(or red) for approach limited with a 3 color light head signal. The bottom head should not be flashing green. Only the second head should do that. I’d guess that this will probably fixed when the signaling update is implemented.
Thank you for the feedback. I also would have thought that this is supposed to be an Approach Limited with the bottom most head gone wild. Not even the CROR system has an aspect like that. But you never know.
