I’m currently watching the livestream, and I think you’ve done a grand job with the look and sound, it’s really well done and hits me right in the nostalgia. Really beautiful, huge congratulations to the art team. That said, I appreciate having the simplified controls and driving to assist kids entering into sims for the first time, but, for the big kids, I think we really need an option for some more realistic controls and physics. The rapid acceleration and braking, granted, does look like the TV show I remember, but I would really like to play in a more realistic way. I can see myself getting bored driving without a challenge. Also, as I understand from how it was explained in stream, the lack of proper physics is also the reason why this content is incompatible with existing rollingstock, another slight letdown. That all said, I can’t wait to get into this add on. Cheers gang.

The realistic physics and controls of steam locomotives is not in DTGs vocabulary. They have outright stated they are not doing steam locomotives and if any third-party devs want to take up the mantle with steam with proper physics and controls they will entrain the idea/notion. So far no third parties have stepped up. So the question now is, they're doing steam locomotives? The how is, they're using what's already built into TSW for physics, clearly.
