honestly this dlc could’ve been announced and carried out better if it had its own release. the fact that this is the “big reveal” is the reason why so many people are mad. not to mention, it’s being placed on reused WSR. if we would’ve gotten the island of sodor, maybe just maybe more people would buy it. side note, i also think besides that this season of reveals was utter garbage, we didn’t get any new information besides the first 2 posts.
they also could’ve added other trains too, i just think they went about this a horrible way, they keep losing respect from the community
Thing is. If this was an April Fools Joke and it wasn’t really going to come to TSW. I bet you most people would be begging DTG to make it happen.
A very missed opportunity to create the world of Thomas in TSW as a sideline DLC or even separate game using the TSW engine. The controls could even have been simplified so you could just play for a bit of fun. The complete Island of Sodor and all the friends over time with scenarios based on the series stories could have been a massive hit.
There was plenty of new information. Whether it's new screenshots or just general info. It's not like there was zero. They also couldn't announce content that's coming like 5 years down the line since or even like 2 years down the line because they would have even less info. They wouldn't know the era, rolling stock or destinations
Indeed, there's at least three, and that's not counting the two reveal threads and DTG's official one.
