TSW get him so when will TSC get him too? Seems that TSC dying as we hardly get any new routes. I wish DTG could look on the suggestion thread and see what routes we want.
DTG should withdraw Thomas and friends from TSW and issue it through TSC instead. That is the only way l would buy it. DTG please listen to the TSW community, the majority of us don’t want it. Be sensible and withdraw it before you do irreparable damage to a game that is already full of bugs.
What do you mean with the « majority » ? Did you ask all the customers ? And how can Thomas do irreparable damage ? No idea what you are talking about.
Again TSW : 'World' = all things 'Train Simulator' that DTG can sell, Virtual, Cartoon, Skill Games, Arcade Style, Treasure Hunt. TSC = 'Accurate Real Life Simulations'. My style of Train Geek prefers the TSC model. Each to their own. I can imagine a TSW shooter next. Drive by another train and shoot targets?
I think a number of people have said DTG are not making anything for TSC Any suggestions will be ignored
A number of people have said that. However, I don't think any of the people who have said it work for or have a direct quote from anyone at DTG. Make of that what you will.
Just Trains have said Officially that they won't make anything new for TSC but they will continue to publish other developers work
You won't get Thomas in TSC because the target is young people on consoles. TSC is older people on PCs. Totally different player base focus.
Have you read the thread? It's already there, and so is Sodor, because in TSC anyone can create and publish content, unlike TSW where only DTG can release stuff. We are long independent from DTG. They could disappear and we wouldn't notice (they actually have, but a single player game with so much content and a proper editor cannot die.)
Who cares. 3rd parties very often deliver much better quality because of passion, no constraints and no deadlines. Commercial stuff is always a compromise. Not sure what TSW players expect from DTG next year. They'll do what they always do. Produce fast and efficient DLC to make money. Fair enough.
The Mattel company might care since they own the license last I knew. There's quite a bit of content that's not "authorized/licensed" in TSC that DTG would never do in TSW because it's considered "workshop content" and not legit DTG sales.
They don't care as it's not of concern for them as their brand is not commercially used in TSC. So if you like it, download it now in case they ask the author to withdraw it. It's a nice loco, I think 16 facial expressions and keyboard controlled eye movement, but I have no use for it, and my nephew likes the UP Big Boy more than Thomas . Me, I'm a "sim" guy.
Not my thing. I just know it's a good marketing tool to get more kids into TSW on console. That's your future customers (and their families of course.)
