First of all I’m genuinely pleased that PS5 users are seeing vast improvements to TSW 2 on the latest PlayStation console however some have expressed the sentiment that because of the current problems with PS4 they are unable to discuss the various improvements they are seeing because they feel for PS4 players. This is laudable but wrong because PS5 players should be able to freely discuss whatever without feeling guilty. However from a PS4 players perspective it is starting to rankle a bit when I inevitably read how wonderful every thing is for them in the PS4 section especially after the recent update debacle with PS4 which I do believe has caused a definite split between some ( Not all ) players of both PS consoles . Honestly this thread wasn’t started out of some kind of jealousy although some will inevitably say it is. I mean I too will probably get a PS5 one day. I could get one now but can’t honestly justify it yet even if I could easily source one. I am genuinely happy with how my PS4 performs with TSW2 when everything is working it more than suits my needs. Now there is a PS5 version of TSW2 out things are only going to be less relevant to PS4 owners who let’s be honest are only really interested how TSW2 performs on their older machine. If they are interested in PS5 issues I’m pretty sure tbey are capable of going and having a read in the PS5 section. It’ also can get quite confusing when trying to read about fixes or whatever when everyone is lumping PS4 discussions in with PS5 ones. For me it can be anyway. I know this thread will be viewed as divisive by some and no doubt I will get attacked and trolled about it or even ignored but I genuinely believe there will be benefits to both sets of players if we had our own separate sections so we can easily discuss what is relevant to our different versions of PlayStation. Ok slate me if you must I’m more than capable of taking any insults that are going to come my way with a pinch of salt or water of a ducks back.Either way it’s something to think about.
I think PS5 users should just go ahead and post their feedback in the existing Playstation section and not feel guilty, if that’s why they don’t. As a PS4 owner I’d appreciate reading PS5 feedback, because focusing entirely on the PS4 issues is depressing.
You would still be able to read PS5 feedback it would just mean going to the PS5 section. Also reading PS4 issues might be depressing at the moment but it won’t always be that way once the core update problems are hopefully fixed. Now PS5 have a version of TSW2 I just feel as things progress and the PS5 version naturally moves on etc it might be easier to go to a section that’s dedicated to your version of PlayStation.
I would think that there are far more PS4 owners than there are PS5 owners at least for the time being anyway. Ultimately its the same game with graphical/ performance difference and similar issues affect both. I would not think there is a need to segment a community over a frustrating upgrade process and as was mentioned above makes things more balanced.
Just add a simple PS4 or PS5 in the title and use tags? Common sense next there will be a suggestion for PS5 digital and disc versions of the console to have there own threads… then PS4 slim, PS4 pro……
I agree, I do think now the new PS5 version is out we need a separate section, there are a lot of differences between the 2 versions now, for instance the water is fixed in the PS5 version on Pen Corridor but not on the PS4 version. I don't want PS5 owners to feel guilty about posting on here because they are having a good experience either. It just makes more sense in my opinion and yes it is only my opinion.
I was of course kidding agree with the your first post the forum is flooded with issues at the minute but it will settle down, just don’t know when. Then everyone can discuss the actual routes and not the game in a broken state
