Hello. I come today with the suggestion of a new route. The London, Tilbury and Southend line, officially known as the Essex Thameside franchise and better known to those in the UK as c2c. I would like to see this route brought to TSW4, however I understand creating a new riutr can be quite difficult, and so I would suggest only doing the short route between London Fenchurch Street and Grays, alongside the railway's signature Class 357 units. Optionally, we could also (as DLC) see the introduction of the routes former rolling stock in classes 310 and/or 312 from the railway's National Express days. Yes, 317's were also used, but if we're gonna have a dlc train, let's please not have it look almost identical to something we've already got (317 = ScotRail 314 ) I hope the developers can take this into consideration as, unlike most other trains in the game, the Class 357 is unique in the fact that it was built specifically for c2c. Hopefully, we see this marvellous route included soon.
Great suggestion but the 317 is from the Mk3 family of units. The 314 was part of the PEP family of nearly a decade earlier and has some significant differences.
The whole network might be a bit of a stretch, but that would be one of the few cases where I would actually be willing to pay a premium for a full route network. Imagine having a complete timetable and being able to drive every service on that operators network!
This route has rightly been suggested several times recently, in good detail, but only releasing part of it wouldn't make sense. The whole route is perfectly possible.
Great suggestion and rightly getting a bit more press at the moment as a long overdue route. Would be disappointed if it only ran to Grays though. As a self contained route with a few small branch lines it should be achievable to do the whole line. Be a shame not to see the Benfleet to Shoeburyness stretch where you can see countryside, the sea and then urban sprawl all in the space of a few miles.
