Watching the latest stream re Great Western Classics it was mentioned the facility is now available for multiple timetables. How about a timetable editor, surely couldn't infringe any copyright?
no it shouldn't infringe anything but if we do get it we need 1. full customizability of consists and services. 2. place locos and cars wherever we want making them static if we desire. 3. Off the rails option
That is actually a nice idea, and would facilitate a lot of requests that I have seen. Instead going through the hassle on scenario planner, we can just swap out one specific service with the loco we like, and off we go. And for those who want, they modify the whole timetable, e.g. like on SEH when there is no way you can keep the specified times.
I personally like the idea of making a custom timetable or take a service from a timetable mode and change the consists of the train. For example the Lirr Hempstead branch services from Hempstead to Atlantic Terminal Brooklyn usually run 8 car trains but the only option we have are 6 car trains. The shuttle service from penn station to woodside which is supposed to replicate the Port Washington Branch runs 6 car trains which is unrealistic because in reality they run 8-10 and 12 car trains so the idea to change consists in the timetable mode would be cool
