I don't know if this is a known problem. I find when starting on foot on some routes the timetable is not fully working. Like Liverpool to crewe, if I spawn on foot at Crewe 5 mins before a train arrives in the timetable, it does not arrive? If I spawn a train and drive to Liverpool, I am lucky to see one other service?
In the case of the Liverpool-Crewe route, the timetable is sparse, you're lucky to see a train other than the one you're driving.
