Hi I’ve noticed for some time that the dispatcher in TS is quite poor at giving the ‘right away’ at the specified time - but fairly recently it has become a LOT worse. I usually prefer timetable scenarios to standard scenarios, for the extra challenge, but it seems that only the first stop is now held to time and any subsequent stops en route, the dispatcher allows the standard 35 second minimum dwell time regardless of what is specified in the editor. (And yes, before you ask, I’ve ticked the ‘hold to time’ box.) This potentially ruins a scenario where AI is carefully timed to present at suitable locations based on the player running on time, not increasingly ahead of time. I wonder if it’s anything to do with the % performance setting - my scenarios are usually constructed using the real world timetable and very often only required 80-90% to keep time - is the dispatcher for some reason ignoring this and assuming 100% running in game? Just wonder if anyone else has found this.
When I was a Guard then a Driver on real trains it was up to the Guard/Drive on the train to wait for the departure time The doors auto close on some stock before the departure time but it does not stop you waiting for the correct time. Peter
