In the last days I started several attempts to drive a Dosto Cab Car on Salzburg-Rosenheim, but 80% of the time, the loco didn´t try to give any power and so I was a little bit frustrated. Are there any tips how should I operate this train or is this just a bug, as any other loco (BR 146, 143, 112) is always reacting to the throttle lever...
If you could get it moving at first but then when you try to put power back on you get nothing, 111s have a tap changer and when you take power off the taps slowly go down and when they reach 0 then you can accelerate again.
See if this video helps you out at all. It may not be the same scenario that you are doing but it is with the BR111. I haven't used the cab car yet, I'm gonna guess that it's roughly the same in applying power with the tap.
