With 2018 TS we had the Spanning Crewe to Llandudno the North Wales Coastal. The route of course has since been removed from the steam store and the Core pack has been upgrade to 2020. So the question is could it be possbile to step down to 2018 just to get that missing route? I seen legit sites that are still selling the core 2018 TS game. My thinking is i would have unstall 2020 from my PC install the 2018 to get the missing route then restall 2020.... that possbile as a work around folks?
Presuming you get TS2018 (or any other edition of TS for that matter) as a Steam key you should be able to just enter the key as normal and the bundle of routes will be added to your collection without affecting your current install. You may get a warning that you already own some of the content and won't get a second copy which you should check but it would be to do with the core program and there's no point in having another copy of that. Once you acknowledge the warning (if you get one- this may only be if you actually buy through Steam) it's just a wait.
