I have an idea about a Tohoku Shinkansen in 90’s with Shinkansen series 200, 400, E2 and E3. We lack Shinkansen routes and trains and that’s sad because they’re the backbone of high speed rail development. The route could start at Shin-Aomori and end at Morioka station. I suggested series 200 and 400 because they’re classics of JR East both of traditional Shinkansen and Mini-Shinkansen. On the other hand we have more “modern” trains like E2 and E3. So… I hope we’re gonna see some Shinkansens one day, no matter the region.
