It should very well known that TSW’s user interface is not exactly very user-friendly but...

Is anyone else finding that, particularly with a controller, it’s extremely easy to restart a service by accident? Once I hit pause, set my controller down, and go on about my business, I return to either the loading screen or the freaking ‘Get Started’ screen ready to restart the service I’ve spent well over an hour on.

I miss when the pause button went to the ‘Overview’ tab not the ‘Options’ tab. This would not be an issue then.

It doesn’t break the game or anything just a UI nightmare for me personally!

You could leave the game running and then have a more realistic uk experience with 5 hours of delays

    Just how?,

anyways here’s a tip just put yourself in photo mode by pressing both sticks and boom you don’t accidentally mess up

ps don’t do it on some scenarios like through the fire and flames since it will break

it’s fairly easy for me actually… happens more often than not.

I appreciate the suggestion but entering and exiting photo mode resets fog settings, which I rely on heavily to hide the atrocious render distance on PS5. Though I suppose it’ll do until whoever is designing the interface for Train Sim World gets a grip. Thanks.

To be frank, I don’t think it’s the wisest decision for the pause screen to go directly to the restart button. It made sense to me to have gradient info, upcoming speed limits, train info, and the ‘I’m Stuck’ button (which I’d argue is more useful to most players than the restart button) to all be available at a glance when I pause the freaking game. Why would I need to restart my game every time I pause it?

From what I can remember, from the pause screen just press circle on the PS controller and your straight back to the game, no other buttons required.....

Appreciate that but what does it have to do with anything I mentioned?

From the pause screen hit circle button and it will take you straight back to the action in game, that way you don't hit restart and have to do everything over again......

When pausing, hit save at the same time. Not perfect but better than the alternative.

Never had the issue myself, I just pause the game and when play further I hit the the back button (red B on Xbox). I even don't have to think about this, so don't get it why you restart.
