When driving freight trains on Ruhr-Sieg Nord with BR185.2 it is very easy to brake. Putting the automatic brake and dynamic brake in position 3 will result in an "emergency"-alike braking, which is very unrealistic. I will show some pictures taken by me just to show you what this means. Click on the images to a larger size. In this image, the speed is 14.72 m/s with no braking and gradient of -0.7%. The clock shows 16:14:26, and now I put the brakes in position 3. In this image, the speed is now 0.0 m/s after braking with brakes in position 3 and gradient -0.7%. The clock now shows 16:14:42 That means I had a negative acceleration of -0.92 m/s^2 which is way too high, or low maybe, for a freight train. Typical passenger trains accelerate with ±0.5 m/s^2.
