For some reason when I come into Ebbsfleet the TPWS activates the emergency brake. I havent missed any signals this is on the journey routes st Pancras to Faversham. Am I coming into the station too fast? It was only as fast as the other stations so I know I would be able to stop.

  2. I don't think tpws needs to be activated under tvm signalling.

If your doing St Pancras to Faversham leave tpws off. Then activate it at ebbsfleet when you do power changeover.

Sorry I meant to say it does it coming into ebbsfleet both ways. I think you're right about not needing aws/tpws on the CTRL but I had it activate both ways. I'm wondering if its a bug or whether I'm entering the platform area too fast.

Never really dealt with TPWS umtil now I don't think it was really simulated in TSW 2.

Try entering the station at about 25 mph and see if it still does it.

    Are overspeed grids active now?

Just retried the run from Faversham to St Pancras and entered the platform at Ebbsfleet about 30 mph. No TPWS activation.
As above I wonder if overspeed activation is simulated now? Or whether its just a bug it would need another run to check.

I would hope and suspect it is overspeed grids doing their job then. I might give it a couple of tests tomorrow as well if I get a chance.

Would be great if it is a feature they have implemented.
