(Track expansion packs) Everyone knows that after a while of playing the same route over and over and over going down the same line day after day it can get kind of boring and we’re left with a Game that becomes boring after a while and in order to fix that I come up with my idea track expansion packs with this you could pay $15 to add extra stations and track to the map of your choice this will allow players to be able to explore more of their favorite routes I agree a lot of paying customers will enjoy it and For instance Boston sprinter can be expanded to be Boston to Wasterly station, Long Island Railroad Penn Station to Ronkonkoma station, Metro north Grand Central terminal to Goldens Bridge The possibilities are endless and all you have to do is pay an extra fee just to explore free Thank you for reading my suggestion have a great day/night
It has been discussed several times before... DTG unlikely to consider extending or merging any existing TSW routes. They would already have done some (like GWE) by now if feasible or commercially viable. The best we get are the Pres. Crew updates to what's already there.

I think DTG will change its mind one day if they could get the right technology to extend routes maybe it will be easier for them
I think one of theses days once DTG get new technology they will change their mind and extend routes and then it’s going to be a lot easier for them
I think eventually, we will see route extensions. It is in the best interests of dovetail in the long one (at least in my opinion). I think the easiest way to do extensions would be to sell the 'extension' as a separate route and if you own both routes the 2 'merge'. This half eliminates the DLC-for-a-DLC problem (given that you could buy just this section). I would also see a Discount for owners of the other part. There are a few Examples in TSW that could have this treatment already
Are you thinking of merging Rhein-Ruhr Osten with Ruhr-Sieg Nord without Rangierbahnhof Hagen Vorhalle and East Coastway Brighton Main Line without Wivelsfield connector. The correct way of merging them is actually including both however HRR RRO RSN if you make the extension Bochum Langendreer/Dortmund Witten Hagen Vorhalle then the RRO RSN Junction.
Extending routes will bring many gameplay possibilities and make routes so much more enjoyable in the long term. I think that the next major project should be to work on merging of routes where applicable. I also agree that any extensions can be run as stand alone routes if desired to eliminate the dlc for dlc issue. The major example of extensions/mergers for me is GWE and the missing branches that leave the mainline between London Paddington and Reading but of course there are many more.
