Greetings, Sorry just another small silly question here, this time regarding the track monitor and the small distance reading that it shows. Can anyone tell me whats this reading relates to?
The distance reading shows you how much of the track ahead the track monitor shows. In this case the track monitor is showing you the next 0.9 miles of track
The distance on the track monitor will vary. Slower speeds tend to show about 1 mile, higher speeds can show upwards of 3 miles.
It will also change dynamically according to signal spacing and if you are coming up to a restrictive aspect or significant speed reduction.
