Track Shadow Rendering Tsw5

    Just one thing because I didn't hear or read about it. On both streams so far it seemed that the track shadow rendering is not working as promised or did someone hear something about it? Thanks.

    DTG has said it doesn’t work at junctions because of the maths needed to make it work, but it should be ok everywhere else I believe.

    Its clearly not working on plain track at times looking at the San Bernardino stream, despite what Matt said, you could clearly see the rail shadow popping in like crazy on plain straight track

    Sadly not. Firstly, we’ve now found out it only affects the track and not the track bed, so the bed pop-in is even more jarring. Secondly, for huge chunks of that Bernardino run the track shadow was popping-in in sections. It is almost worse than what we have now.

    Yes thats what I saw. It almost looks worse than it is now. Why are they doing sth like this to improve the game just to make it look worse than it is now? This makes no sense.
