Yesterday's roadmap sparked a huge discussion as it seems we won't hear anything about bug fixes until they end up in patch notes. We won't know whether they have been acknowledged, considered to fix etc. It is understandable keeping track of so many things might be difficult. What if, however, the community could get more involved? What if we ourselves created a list of larger problems (game crashing at one spot for everyone vs a railing 5cm lower than real), gather details and someone from DTG would just fill in the progress on such bugs (will be fixed, cannot replicate, waiting for update release, etc.). We would help with a bulk of work and as a reward keep track of fixes as the current planned solution seems like a step backwards.
I think they need to standardise their internal tracking systems along with their team communication expectations. Database Tools for that are readily available that can handle varying levels of detail for expert and layperson. The issue now for us end-users is mainly willpower. I agree waiting for patch notes is a poor solution as those notes always seem sketchy at best and aren't even visible to console users until someone posts in the forums. Given that bugfixes on the roadmap got lost in translation between too many people I'm pretty sure the same issue would exist in writing patch notes too.
