Hi All, here's one for those of you who use TrackiR.

Does TrackiR work well with TSW4, do you still have some mouse control for operating cab functions?

A mouse is always needed! A Trackir can not turn 180 degrees so if you walk or you have to reach the back wall panel you need a mouse. I have Trackir and its for me not a big game changer. Will it work? Yes but if you have plans to buy it consider that its not like VR are such things. Its a nice extra but if its worth 250€ i can not look in Youre wallet

TrackIR only rotates the head. Moving mouse is still required when you need to rotate the body. Even then if you look at some interactive control in the cab with just head tracking, you will still need to press mouse button and sometimes also move it (when the control has more than 2 states).

I have TrackiR and use it in European Truck Sim, American Truck Sim and other driving games, and in that area TrackiR is a game changer.
For the sake of those around me I wear headphones and the TrackiR reflector sensor is permanently attached to the top of the headphones. If it offers no benefit I think I will opt for a pair of speakers, as TSW4 is a peaceful sim, at least when I get it right.
I am waiting for a pc upgrade to arrive, so hence my question.
