I really like to play train simulator, with all different kinds train and routes from all over the world. Please would you consider to make train and routes from Sweden.
Sadly it seems unlikely, unless DTG partner up with a competent developer and they feel there is a market for it. Personally I would love to see something based on the iron ore route in the north Lulea through to Narvik (set in the early 1980's when there was still a good passenger service), but that immediately brings the other problem - far too long for the average TSW 40 - 80km route length.
I’m very keen on having Malmö to Køge Nord. It would have both freight and passenger plus have a board crossing and some fantastic views over Øresund broen.
Correct and why not set that in the years 1970-1990 that way you shunt East German Rekowagen sleeper/restaurant carriages onto the Trelleborg to Warnemunde/Sassnitz train ferry.
I'm very familiar with the Southern Swedish railways so if I had to recommend any that would be compatible for the game I would choose: Malmö - Alvesta, Malmö - Ängelholm, Malmö - Ystad & Trelleborg (including Östervärn/Persborg divert). It would also be great for freight as around Malmö you have the Godsbangård so you can work freight services from there all the way North towards Alvesta. Malmö - Alvesta Journey time: 1hr 35mins Malmö - Ängelholm Journey time: 1hr 6mins Malmö - Ystad & Trelleborg (including Östervärn/Persborg divert) Malmö - Ystad Journey time: 49mins Malmö - Trelleborg Journey time: 32mins The service via Persborg only goes as far as Hyllie so the calling points are only: Malmö Central Malmö Östervärn Malmö Rosengård Malmo Persborg Malmö Svågertorp Hyllie The main passenger services that would run on the majority of routes would be the: Alstom Skånetrafiken X61 (Malmö - Trelleborg/Ystad/Alvesta/Ängelholm) AdTranz/Bombardier Öresundståg X31 (Malmö - Hyllie via underground/Ängelholm/Alvesta) Siemens Vectron Snälltåget Class 193 (Malmö - Alvesta) Freight Services! Iconic to Sweden's railways are the Rc series. Most commonly for freight services are the Rc4's or the refurbished Rd2's. (All photos are not mine) You will literally see these freight locomotives everywhere - and they do work some passenger services mainly for SJ, or sometimes on loan to Snälltåget when it works the boat train excursion to Germany. The main freight operator who uses the Rc's are Green Cargo.
