PlayStation Train At Station No Signal To Verify It's There

Was doing a service in m3 at long island service was 2039 ronkonkoma - New York Penn

There was a train at a station I was passing through had a green light and obviously didn't have time to stop attached a video

 

ATC switches to 15 at some point, to which you don't react, but still not sure whether that would be enough leeway. It happened to me as well, that there was a train in front of me and no signal separated us, but I believe that is somewhat prototypical and addressed by the ATC
