I don't think the UK headcodes are changeable on DTG stock. In my case I know about the lamp status, but I haven't a clue how the headcodes worked.

If it is a loco that displays Lamps there is usually a way of changing them in the - the class 76 has a separate switch for each lamp For a loco that shows a Headcode like the 31 go in to the Scenario Editor, double click on the loco number and a pop-up box appears giving you the option to change the number and/or headcode This picture shows the Headcode as in the official picture above I have double clicked on the loco number and this box on the right appeared - it shows 55217216 Loco number/Heacode I have changed the number and headcode Click F2 to save or push the play button and your loco now shows the numbers you have given it Peter
