Hi, could you make it so that AI trains sound the horn and/or bell, in accordance to real protocalls? I.e, sounding the horn at a grade crossing, sounding the bell as pulling into a station. This would make the world feel more immersive and alive.

Given different countries have different protocols for this, I imagine it would be alot of work.

Do US trains sound their horn as they enter a station? What a loud country it is!

I believe they do if they just pass through it. When they actually stop at a station, they just sound the bell. But it may differ from railroad to railroad.

    These are the Federal regulations:

But in addition, the railroads themselves (including Amtrak and most commuter lines) subscribe to either the General Code of Operating Rules, GCOR (mostly west of the Mississippi, and the Chicago region), or the rules published by the Northeast Operating Rules Advisory Committee, NORAC, in the east. Both are pretty similar on this point; here's the NORAC version:

Yes, that's a LOT of noise.

Well, why equip a locomotive with a horn that can rattle people's dishes from a mile away and then not use it at every opportunity?
