Train Lights Disappear To Soon

I would love to see the train lights stay longer visible. Right now the train lights really disappear to soon, at night you mostly see the train first and then the lights, this is totaly unrealistic as the lights should be visible long before you can see the train.
Train lights should be handled like the signal lights, allways visible or at least minimum half the distance of signals and then fading out slowly.

Even after a short distance lights are not visible anymore:

Same thing with the headlights appearing.

 

I agree, the first thing you see on an approaching train is the headlight, even in the daytime.
