From my understanding Dovetail and Xbox have a good relationship since Train Sim World 3 and 2 were on Xbox game pass pretty much day 1 for both pc and console. I think adding the base version of Train Sim Classic onto Xbox Gamepass for PC is a win for both Xbox and Dovetail. Gamepass is proven to be a really good way to get new players and getting a simulation game such as Train Sim Classic that can run at low-ish hardware could fill a gap in the Gamepass PC lineup.
