So, after the removal of the Arriva Trains Wales liveried trains and stations earlier this month I thought I would contact Transport for Wales and ask about the possibility of changing things to their branding (which is owned by the Welsh Government). I have had it confirmed today that DTG ARE in talks with TfW to get commercial agreement to use the branding! (huge caveat that they don't have a timeline so no idea on how long these things take...) This could mean the re-release of both SWC routes and the North Wales route, as well as maybe new versions of the class 175 Coradia in future, all in TfW livery and branding! (and who knows, maybe other routes such as mid Wales, South Wales Valleys etc)
What happens in the case where people have already got the previous version? Does it means there will / would be 2 versions of NWC in existence or people who have the "current" version be forced into buying basically the same thing again??? Eric
I doubt it, we'd probably (read "hopefully") have an update that would just add the TfW stuff and the ATW would remain, so we'd end up lucky enough to have both TOC's, and probably a few new scenarios to make use of the TfW stock. At least I wont need to rely on my own shoddy reskins then ..
Why are you Forced in to buying anything? What you have bought on Steam you Keep - it does not get overwritten If a new version comes out then there will be two versions. Peter
