    ## Community-Wunschpaket für Train Sim World 6: **„SBB Interregional Experience“**

    ### Idee:
Viele Spieler wünschen sich endlich eine **moderne Schweizer Hauptstrecke** mit dem beliebten **SBB Interregional-Zug**. Dieses Paket soll die Lücke schließen und die Schweiz wieder prominent in TSW vertreten.

    ---

    ### ️ Streckenvorschlag: **Basel SBB – Zürich HB via Olten**
    - Länge: ca. 85 km
    - Typ: Elektrifizierte Hauptstrecke mit Fern-, Regional- und Güterverkehr
    - Highlights:
    - Basel SBB: internationaler Knotenpunkt
    ![Basel SBB](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Basel_SBB,_Bahnhof.jpg)
    - Olten: zentraler Umsteigebahnhof mit Rangiermöglichkeiten
    ![Bahnhof Olten](https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bahnhof_Olten)
    - Zürich HB: größter Bahnhof der Schweiz mit unterirdischem Durchgangsbahnhof
    ![Zürich HB](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zürich_Hauptbahnhof)

    ---

    ### Rollmaterialwunsch:
    #### 1. **SBB RABe 511 Stadler FLIRT / KISS**
    - Einsatz als InterRegio und S-Bahn
    - Modernes Führerstanddesign, realistische Sounds
    ![RABe 511](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:SBB_RABe_511_Tössmühle.jpg)

    #### 2. **IC2000 Doppelstockwagen mit Re 460**
    - Für Fernverkehrsszenarien mit hohem Realismus
    ![IC2000 mit Re 460](https://www.bahnbilder.de/bild/Schw...re-460-048-2-mit-ic2000-doppelstockwagen.html)

    ---

    ### Szenarienideen:
    - „Morgenpendler“: IR Basel – Zürich mit Verspätung und Gleiswechsel
    - „Schneefall in Olten“: Fahrten bei eingeschränkter Sicht
    - „Lokwechsel in Basel“: Re 460 übernimmt IC2000
    - „S-Bahn trifft InterRegio“: Mischverkehr mit Fahrplanstress

    ---

    ### Besondere Features:
    - **ZUB/ETCS-Simulation** (optional vereinfacht)
    - **Ansagen im Zug** (Deutsch, Französisch, Englisch)
    - **Begehbarer Führerstand**, manuelle Türen
    - **Dynamisches Wetter**: Nebel, Schnee, Regen

    ---

    ### Warum dieses Paket?
    - Die Community wünscht sich seit Jahren den SBB Interregional-Zug
    - Schweizer Strecken sind beliebt, aber unterrepräsentiert
    - Die Strecke Basel–Zürich ist realis
    tisch, abwechslungsreich und international relevant

Many users would like to see an SBB route, as would I, since I am from Switzerland myself.

Unfortunately, this will no longer be possible, as SBB will no longer be issuing licences for SBB rolling stock.

Therefore, there will certainly be no SBB route in the near future.
Perhaps we could check with BLS to see if they would be willing to issue a licence to build a BLS route and rolling stock.

Also OP be aware you need to post in English as per forum guidelines.

Last thing I've heard from official sources is that SBB doesn't want accurate simulation in the game, basically anything more than the most basic controls like a throttle lever is a no-go from SBBs perspective. Anything extremely simple could still be possible, but since TSW playerbase want more advanced simulation, DTG decided anything SBB isn't worth it. So that it's not that SBB won't license their brand, as far as I know.

But it seems information like this gets misinterpreted and is starting to lead its own life over time. Posts by DTG staff are lost somewhere on the forums, so it's hard to keep track of all the sources.

This is why there needs to be some sort of updated sticky with regard to such matters. Many of us were also labouring under the impression SNCF had adopted the same stance, until Matt posted in a thread the other day that’s not the case. Ditto US freight companies, MTA with the New York subway. It’s all been fed through casual forum posts, Discord or comments on streams with no unified source.

They said that they don't even want cabs. Like the train without the cab... Or a fictive one

I wish so badly for this, my beloved SBB.
