Today we find out what it's like to drive on a busy commuter network and operate a BR Class 314 as we are joined by Ian from ScotRail! Read More : https://live.dovetailgames.com/live/train-sim-world/articles/article/drivers-eye-view
Great article. I envy such a professional career My Polish heart is German, but in the case of this Route - maybe I will be tempted. Depends on how much today's stream will lag /o\ BR o7 I'm in the right place at the wrong time.
This article is what I would expect from a top quality release, great cooperation between DTG and the TOC, with a lot of information sharing, and hopefully enough time and resources to make use of this info as well. Can't wait to see the route for myself tonight in the stream, this is shaping up to be another East Coastway/CRR.
Really interesting and a great idea to get a view from a Train Driver/Trainer with many years of experience. Well done all round.
Agreed, and the level of cooperation would suggest that DTG have had, or will have, access to additional rolling stock for a loco DLC.
I must agree, however it doesn't surprise me, as ScotRail are incredibly open and like to serve the people the best as possible, and make the network feel nice... ...hence Choo Choo... Joking aside, this level of cooperation is wonderful to see, and this is why (totally no local bias here) Scotrail is the best operator for me.
Totally agree with you. I don't know why I would think because you have never mentioned it but do you like Choo Choo? Best planter on any rail network in my opinion
It's great to see how strong the co-operation appears to be here and hopefully this leads to a large selection of Scottish content in the future. ScotRail seems pretty keen on this and they are actively engaging in the promotion of the add-on through their own social medial channels. Don't recall other TOC's being so involved in the promotion of their respective add-ons in the past? Example: Screenshot_20210531-081553_Twitter by ScottDarg posted May 31, 2021 at 8:16 AM
