Hello, I've encountered something very confusing related to TSW2 as it appears in the Microsoft Store and XBox app. The game itself can be played on PC as well as XBox (XB1/XSS/XSX). Most of its DLCs are also PC and XBox compatible, but not all. For some reason, several DLCs that I own can only be installed and played on XBox, but not PC. In no particular order: IOW22, DCZ, DRA, SMH, HAR, and BPE are the DLCs that I own and can only play on XBox. To be fair, I understood from the start that going for MS Store license means mostly targeting XBox platform, and the additional ability to play the game and its content on PC is an added bonus, so this is not an actual complaint. I am confused about why certain DLCs would be XBox only and not PC, when the game itself is also PC compatible, and we know that all the DLCs can be played on PC through Steam or Epic. I can't see any logic as to the list of DLCs that only work on XBox. BML is PC compatible, but DRA and BPE are not? East Coastway DLC is PC compatible, but the 313 loco add-on is not? Anyone knows anything about this? Thanks!
OK, I made a mistake, and maybe now it makes a little more sense. BML is not PC compatible, which would put the whole Rush Hour in the XBox only column. Maybe there is now a pattern, in terms of time line when the XBox only DLCs were released. UPDATE: All DLCs released after the summer of 2021 are XBox only, and all DLCs released prior to that date were also PC compatible. This explains even why ECW is PC compatible while the 313 addon is not. Mystery solved!
Yep, TSW2 basically stopped releasing new content as XBox Play Anywhere with the advent of Rush hour.
