Oh the new German route is dope, nice to see my suggestion come to life. Really looking forward to 612 <3 This is my local route, if you need anything let me know
I am very happy with the new german route (Dresden - Chemnitz)!. I am really looking forward to it!
The next german route is...
Continuing on from Riesa-Dresden, we have Tharandter Rampe: Dresden - Chemnitz with DB BR 612 and DB BR 143
Quite a big moment for TSW2 as the 612 will be the first German DMU to come to this game
Hopefully the 2 Dresden routes can be linked , probably not though
And it's even a tilting one, I hope this feature will be implemented as well
Nice to finally see a German DMU coming to TSW 2. So far, highly conspicuous by their absence.
sooo...will this connect with the dresden we already have or be completely seperate...i guess the latter
Interestingly, the 612 can tilt.
A nice German dmu. Stops the endless cycle of electrics
It’ll be interesting to see whether dtg can implement this
They really should think of something, it's getting more and more which could be linked... BML & ECW / RSN & RRO and DRA & the new one
Also, why do we get a 143 the THIRD(!?) time?
Does the tilt on this train pave the way for the Acela, ice-t and the west coast mainline? Are these hints for what's next to be added :-[)
Maybe they are doing the 612 to try it out before introducing the ICE T and Acela Express.
As long as they don’t rebuild the 143 a third time.
We should get the correct dostos though
The second time wasn't rebuild. new sounds and a Reverser to stick it in i.e.
Dresden again I'm looking forward to it.
So Dresden-Chemnitz with the Br612? NICE!
And for those of you who aren’t familiar with this train:
And furthermore: It is a tilting train! That means we are a massive step closer to an ICE-T (at least it seems like that ;D)
How many Kilometer the German Route
It got all new physics according to Matt, so the 143 Simugraph was effectively rebuilt/altered.
So the route code for the new German route is DBB-R7 08 - I don't recall the 612 being an AC electric Shouldn't it be DGB-R7 01?
The 143 is used with VVO Dostos on the Dresden S3 between Dresden and Tharandt
I'd love to see the old school boxy DDR Dostos with the turquoise seats.
According to Google 77.9 km
And the presence of a DMU means we can finally serve the Aschaffenburg local stations (even though a 612 wouldn't be 100% accurate)
The DMUs no longer run on this route, because the electrifcation was extended from Reichenbach to Hof (both beyond this route). This hints at a historical timetable - might we able to see the Intercity variant of the 612, as well as the regular red? There are no changes internally as far as I know.
A twisty turny German route with a tilting Diesel train. That already sounds like a great deal of fun.
I really hope they don't forget to solve the train noise problem in London Commuter!!!
Does anyone remember when we used to get 2 to 3 brand new trains per route? It's nice to get a new train but we only ever seem to get 1 along with a reused train from a different route. Obviously, if the 143 runs on that line IRL it's fine but it's still annoying me.
Because it is realistic. On this route, there is no loco more realistic than the BR 143. Its still operating on the S3 today and in past also on the regional trains. I hope there are new Dostos coming (the regionaltrains operated mostly with DR-Dosto oder third generation Dosto I guess, maybe there were also some fourth generation Dosto on it).
Great. With a German route already announced, guess the question is which route will be next to be released then? (which I'm gonna hate that answer soon enough)
Whether the 612 tilts in game is the 64¢ question of the stream. Just having something other than an emu is enough to pique my interest.
Now come on, let's not get too demanding. We have had routes with only reused rolling stock, complained, and it seems like they listened. I think one new vehicle er route is more than fair, given the effort and time it needs to build them.
Different question, has that route been made in TS classic as well? I looked alot through the route catalogue there but there is so much, I couldn't tell. Might be the first completely new route since covid striked!
The last time BR 612 and BR 143 ran together on that route was in 2013, when electrification between Reichenbach (Vogtland) and Hof (both not on this route) was completed. After that the RB30 and RE3 services where taken over by the BR 143 and in 2016 by a new company (MRB) with new stock (BR 1440) altogether
I wonder what livery rewards will be? Maybe they're going to be annoying and make me use Dovetail Live to get the blue 313.
The route is new, but the 612 was in TS.
But not made by DTG, but RSSLO.
That will probably to supply us with the S3 services from the start, that part of the route would feel empty without the BR 143 and Dostos.
The 612 is a very nice addition though, finally a DMU, and a tilting one nonetheless! I also hope that we'll see some older Dostos, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Curious to see what the line will bring .
Well it seems a bit different from the usual German route so may be worth a punt.
Nice to see the 232 and 420 haven't been forgotten, though no estimate on when we can see a release. I liked the 420 in MSTS as it sounded uncannily like our own old Class 310 (AM10) EMU's.
Wonder what scope there is for the German route to get a heritage pack at some point - a Class 216 or 218 with Silberlinge or AM/BM stock.
For the DTG made routes I figure it will be Sherman Hill then the new Chemnitz route then after that probably a UK route.
Seems to be the pattern with them US, Germany, UK, unless a new country is introduced which would be a welcome surprise.
Fully expecting to see the "no we decided not to try and route merge" again.
I’d love to be able to settle into some longer Passenger runs across Germany
Do you by any chance know what Dostos all services were using back than? Any older stock still in use? I'd love some DR dostos or the 3rd generation cab car (which I just find really pretty for some reason).
No idea why this german route can be really interesting. I would have preferred a more historic route or a Dutch route.
There are some 143s in heritage liveries too... the old DR burgundy and one in S-Bahn orange. Now I'm getting carried away
jolojonasgames As you mentioned, both DR Dostos (DBuz) and 3rd Gen where used. That's for the RB30 services between Zwickau (Sachs) Hbf - Chemnitz Hbf - Freiberg (Sachs) Hbf - Dresden Hbf. As for the S3, I believe the well-known 4th Gen would be accurate
Yay! Another new German route to add in my collection and it comes with a DMU finally.
I'd like to see Dutch routes too, but the fact that they've never done one suggests a licensing obstacle. This route is quite scenic and varied in traffic.
I suspect this route to be set before 2012-ish, and back then the 143 would run with DR dostos on the RB30 services all the way to Zwickau (so along the whole route) as well as with the Dostos we know on the S3 to Freiberg.
I'm desperately hoping it is the DBuz now. They're such characterful coaches, and there can be layers for other types if people have them.
