This route ones with class 345s going from abbey wood to Paddington in 18 minutes this route should only take 18 minutes to complete.
This has been suggested previously. Same response as before, if anything like the recently uploaded cab ride on YT really not going to offer much appeal. One modern train, route largely in tunnel, doesn't even have the historic appeal of the Bakerloo line.
It sounds simple enough but to incorporate 3 different signalling systems and parts of the central section that is automatic, it'll be a mammoth task. New assets would need to be made, PSDs and all sorts of new funky stuff such as the PIDs, CIS PIS. A route like this, done properly and not a quick bish bash bosh, is highly unlikely at the moment I think. But maybe DTG can surprise us
Core section is ETCS overlaid on top of CBTC. An update would require Great Western Mainline 2022 timetable compete with 25kv AC OHLE from Paddington to Reading. If merged with GWML London Paddington to Reading 2022 version a screen will say do you wish to continue to reading yes or no?
