The scenery is loaded and unloaded in map tiles. The length of a route with regards to scenery has very little impact on how much strain it puts on a PC The density of assets in London and Paris may cause some load, but the remainder of the route is towns or countryside so unless DTG do that wavy grass thing again... Shouldn't be an issue. The issue with long routes is the development time as the laying of track, signalling and creating of timetable takes a fair amount of time, and a longer route with more interactions takes much longer to create and test
