I remember Matt saying that TSW4 Routes have a lot more Options for placing your Train and Dresden-Riesa will probably be compatible with Scenario Planner 2.0 too. Could you please show us a comparison of what is now possible in TSW4 compared to TSW3 and the Scenario Planner 1.0 version

How easy will it be to generate a clockface/interval timetable without having to input each train individually?
Will there be any new decals/logos/images for players to utilise? Why can't we have more logos in the game. For example, ScotRail.
I’ve always found the Livery Editor very user unfriendly. I hope it’s different. It might be me, though.
A couple more from me. What is the difference between defining a timetable and a scenario? Slightly linked back to route editing, but if we build a route will we be able to attach a Journey mode to it?
Will Scenario Planner 2.0 functionality EVENTUALLY come to older routes in the Game like let's just say BML or Harlem Line
I don’t create scenarios but I do like to play what others have created. Will the search feature for liveries and additional content be more accurate when looking for these things and likewise will it be possible to search for creators by name. Thanks
A question I have is probably quite an obvious one but want to check before I start what I am planning to do. That question is if I have got a scenario which I have made but need to make adjustments to it in TSW4 will that be fine or will the scenario need to be rebuilt? Also if I have a livery which I have created in TSW3 can I edit and add more layers to it in TSW4? I feel this has been answered somewhere so sorry in advance but will the multiple connected paths work on TSW3 routes in TSW4 as I have a few plans there too? Sorry one more, will the featured CC 'mods' be rotated more regularly on there as well? Sorry if these have been said elsewhere but I haven't got long until I need to get to bed and so haven't got time to be venturing around websites and streams so thought it was better to put them down just in case.
My question is that is the CAP for A.I trains in your custom Scenarios still at 30 or has it been increased?
Will static stock be able to be added to created scenarios (for example, some boxcars in a siding)? Are more stopping locations going to be available with the Scenario Planner?
You are talking about the Editor. Tonight's stream will not be about the Unreal Editor, but about Scenario Designer 2.0, Livery Designer 2.0, and photo mode.
Will the legacy content locos also be getting an increase from 300 layers to 1000 layers in livery editor ?
I believe the layers are a thing of the game itself, not rail vehicle dependent, so yeah it should work edit: rewrote "layering" so it doesn't sound like train service layering
Not sure where else to put this feedback but so far the mammoth schedule of Railfan streams has been pretty annoying. Hardly any of them have run on time, with the advertised content and the advertised people present. Some of these were generally true but hardly ever all of them at the same time. I would suggest reverting to a weekly schedule and trying to stick to what was advertised originally, otherwise these threads are pretty redundent as they are set up according to a schedule that is rarely met. If you are reading this during the stream then they have just announced they will be showing off some photo mode on ECML later on but not doing any Scenario planner as Matt isn't on.
The only reason I tuned into this one was scenario planner, so bailed as soon as Alex say Matt wasn't not going to be there.
Hey, sorry to hear that. We had to make a late decision today as to whether to continue with a reduced showing and defer Scenario Planner, or postpone the whole stream. We took the former option, as some people would want to see the other two items in the billing. We'll show it in the Free Roam stream next week. As far as I could tell, the other one which was deferred was the Introduction to TSW4, which, when we put the schedule together, and given we couldn't show much as it was covered in other streams, didn't feel particularly exciting for people at home. So we've bundled elements of it into other previews as we've gone through, which we hope has made the other streams better. Think everything else has run to schedule though. Apologies for the inconvenience, it's not something we like to do. Sometimes life happens and we have to adapt accordingly. (Like, I'd have loved not to be here on my Tuesday evening, as much as I love chatting to you all, but here we are )
Some SP2.0 functionality is available for all content (choosing weather, start times, etc.) - AI portals and chained paths have been made for TSW4 content though. No plans to backport at this stage.
Good questions I'll try to answer tomorrow for you as not sure they were covered tonight. On rotating Featured content, we currently aim to change weekly, but know that sometimes doesn't happen. We'll aim to make it as often as makes sense!
I felt slightly alarmed about tonight's stream not having scenario planner as I will be using that as much as a burglar uses a crowbar. We should keep siren-t about the extra preview. A good thing is it rang a few bells as I recognised the place where they were so looking forward to that route to bellow into the game. Thanks for the stream though: was entertaining if nothing else!
Thanks JD mate, the odds were stacked against Cat and Alex tonight. Even changing it every fortnight would be great as it is a good way to see different content coming up on CC as there is a lot!
Just a note on the Azuma kitchen from a member of catering crew. That fire door between the vestibule and kitchen? Yeah. It’s never closed. Would only be closed in event of fire/emergencies etc. It’s always kept open. Edit. Doncaster station. The old LNER offices. Wrong bricks/colours. Wrong windows. Could probably just be a placeholder model as the rest of the station looks fantastic.
