So, it has been a while since we have gotten any CSX content in TSW. So I am making a suggestion for a Florida CSX route. The reason I am choosing Florida, Is because there are many opportunities for there to be new freight, scenic routes, like long stretches across bodies of water or countryside's stretching across Florida palmettos. the locomotives I would like featured in this route are, C40-8W, SD40-3, GP38-2, ES44AC. A unique run they could include is the Tropicana Juice Train, granted they get tropicana licensing or make up something generic, but I think making up something generic would ruin it.
The SD40-3 rebuilt units are a cool idea, but instead of the GP38-2, I want the GP40-2/GP40-3. A CSX ET44AH, ST70AH, Genset Switcher, CW60AC/ES46AC, and SD70AC would be awesome inclusions as well.
Not necessarily the entire A line or S line but something like in the Winston or Mulberry area would be cool
Any chance y’all are Distant Signal fans? I have learned so much about CSX in FL from Danny. Something I would suggest is perhaps Miami to somewhere north. I would love to see a true freight and passenger line and with Tri-Rail down there it could work.
Absolutely love his content. His way of spreading information is a great way for more people to learn about the hobby of railfanning and how Railroad companies operate.
That's exactly what we need. American mainline freight routes. BTW doesn't CSX have ET44's on that route?
Shame they abandoned steam, I'd love to see the overseas railroad to Key West. Don't forget to put up route maps, orange juice posters, and risk of death signs with three exclamation marks on the manchineel trees. Just don't do the latter while the dynamic weather's on rain, or your skin will start blistering.
