Game Update Train Sim World 4 Update Notes - November 27th

Hello everyone,

Today, we have an update to support the release of Maintalbahn tomorrow, which also brings a small range of improvements to Blackpool Branches, including rail driver support, scenery tweaks and various fixes.
These improvements are live on Steam and should be working their way to other platforms shortly. Please allow up to 24 hours for updates to come through.

Scenery

• Increased performance around the graveyard near Blackpool.
• Improvements to foliage performance across the route.
• Added 30mph turnout sign at Blackpool North.
• Added Lightfoot Lane Bridge.
• Fixed the appearance of metallic materials at Preston Station.
• Fixed various texture issues at St Annes Station.

Class 142 “Pacer”

• Fixed Rail driver functionality
• Fixed an issue where the guard buzzer would get stuck when closing the doors
• Fixed an issue where doors/wipers would appear to revert to default positions.
• Fixed invalid emergency brake application caused by the DSD pedal not being pressed when starting off.
• Adjusted attenuation on flange squeal.

Class 47

• Fixed Rail driver functionality for IC and Large logo variants.
• Fixed controller affecting the DSD pedal when resetting the safety system
• Fixed overcharge bleed-down rate to be more prototypical.
• Fixed an issue where compressors would get stuck running, which led to over-pressurisation of the main reservoir.
• Fitted safety valve to the main reservoir to prevent over-pressurisation.

Class 08

• Fixed Rail driver functionality.

Update 29/11/23
Hello everyone, we wanted to share that we left off the Mastery Tile for Blackpool Branches being fixed in these patch notes, so I wanted to share this separately as an update.

Blackpool Branches

• Mastery Tile should now correctly activate once enabled in the Mastery Rewards menu.
  Spoiler Warning! A new train station should be visible as shown on the Mastery Rewards menu screenshot!

This should already be live on all platforms, so please let us know if you have any issues getting this to enable.
