Hooray I saw track worker dioramas are coming to tsw4. I'm excited because after all, if we didn't have hard working yard/track/maintenance of way/etc workers, we wouldn't have locomotives! I also mainly do freight so will be nice to see some NPCs when I'm doing a 1.5 hour climb up the mountains.
This route is looking sharp, I might have to give the incorrect sounds a pass if everything else is nailed perfectly. But a rehash of the BR 185.2 Is extremely disappointing
On May this year I traveled to Europe. I visited south of Germany (Munich and Stuttgart) and Italy (Milan and Modena) passing through Austria. So I did most of this route but.. on a highway instead. But most of it, is parallel to the tracks! Then I saw several OBB Talent 1, passing very close to it. Furthermore I visited Lindau on another trip I did in 2002. In order to visit the city, you have to go through a bridge over the railway station!. So this route will have a special feeling for me.
I wonder if DTG will include the BR 193 Vectron with DB red color, on one of the new future announced german routes?... Even is a chance about the MRCE one too. As they already have the license. Hopes this happens.
Route looks nice skipping through the video quickly, but a little concerned we are still getting that washed out and slightly shiny appearance on the track bed.
My initial impressions of the route when first announced was a bit underwhelming, fearing it would be a dull, one-loco route. However, I'm really pleased (and very relieved) to thankfully see it's similar to modern German routes with a varied, busy timetable of passenger and freight, as well as a plethora of different locos from players' existing collection - the perfect combination for a decent route. This will be my favourite route of the TSW 4 base routes that's for sure! Just to add, really pleased to see some of my favourites like the 612 and RABe 523 included!
They would have to rebuild a different internal cab and external roof layout for that. Almost every Vectron customer has a slightly different cab layout and screen configuration. Also the Railpool version is the MS version with 4 pantograph. Most DB Vectrons are AC with 2 pantographs. I'm glad to see that they fixed the headlights.
I like the new HUD but I would like a display to show what notch the power/brake handle is in, as it's currently missing I will still have to use the full HUD.
MRCE has been purchased by Beacon Rail recently; we can't yet know what that will mean for the MRCE brand, both in real life and in Train Sim World.
I’ve just spent the week on the end of the platform at Hamburg-Harburg station, watching a crazy amount of Vectrons roll through every 5 minutes or so, and the amount of different liveries are insane. Can’t wait to try them in Livery Designer.
I just saw this post a minute ago and decided to see on google images of the kinds they are, they definitely appear to have a large range of different liveries for sure. one such one I found which seemed quite unique and stood out was this one; I do use CC for real livery recreations, so I will definitely be looking to see what comes about for the 193
Took the pictures before when i went down to wolfurt, still a surprise for me this route comes to TSW:
Nice and speaking of 1116 195 the game simply treats an ÖBB Baureihe 1116 as a DB BR182 due to it being derived from it. Meaning for every single 1016/1116 Austrian route you end up finishing the True Taurus 1820 km achievement the same way as how Hot off the Press finished 155 km for the RSN 155 and at the same time Bremen 155 counts for Power Up achievement and Power Surge 1550 km achievement
