Game Update Train Sim World 5 Game Update - April 28th

Hello everyone!

Our next update is now live, bringing a range of improvements across several routes. Starting with our major highlight; the Koln – Achen timetable update on Steam. This update adds new services and layers, and boosts the timetable from 552 to 4000 services, 600 of which are playable!

We’ve made further fixes to Zwolle Groningen, including fixing multiple floating objects around the route (get down from there, sign!) and scenery improvements. We also have several updates for a range of other Train Sim World add-ons.

As always, please allow up to 24 hours for it to fully reach your system. Be aware that some systems may update automatically.

Highlights:
Koln – Aachen (Steam Players Only)
• Added the free timetable update for Koln – Aachen, increasing the total service count from 552 to over 4000 (around 600 of which are playable) with the relevant add-ons.
• Added ICE T to appear as an AI train on the route.

Zwolle – Groningen
• Fixed an issue where SNG units couldn't be uncoupled from each other.
• Fixed multiple floating objects across the route.
• Fixed an issue causing the overspeed 3 bell warning to play during emergency braking when using ATB on any Dutch loco.

Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn: Mannheim – Kaiserslautern
• Added more foliage on the disused track at Schifferstadt.
• Added a missing overhead line at Schifferstadt.
• Added the missing Baroque Palace for Mannheim University.

• Fixed a visual issue causing snow to look low res during the Groningen Hero scenario.
• Fixed the text on the Groningen Europapark sign, which used to display 'Groningen Europapark Europapark'.
• Fixed multiple floating objects across the route.
• Fixed an issue causing the overspeed 3 bell warning to play during emergency braking when using ATB on any Dutch loco.
• Removed the random black square from Zwolle.
ICMm Koploper
• Replaced internal emergency brake hiss with the new ICMm3 recordings.
• Added brake magnet rub sounds.
• Fixed looping for the ATB overspeed and deadman alarms.
SNG Sprinter
• Fixed an issue where SNG units couldn't be uncoupled from each other.

Thomas & Friends™
• Fixed an issue causing the camera to lock on the ‘Thomas Arrival’ scenario.
• Fixed an issue where players were able to walk through cab doors.
• Fixed an issue causing Thomas’ headlamp to not be interactable.

Schnellfahrstrecke Kassel-Würzburg
• Fixed an issue where two ICE 3 units coupled together didn’t have the front hatch open.

Bremen – Oldenburg

• Fixed an issue on Scenario 1 where an AI service caused a SPAD at Hochheim, despite the player not passing a signal.

Frankfurt Fulda
• Updated the track ballast landscape material to match the new textures from other European content add-ons.
• Added overgrown textures to the disused section of Wirtheim.
• Fixed a signal on RE50 to Frankfurt that was showing incorrect ‘8’ instead of 80.
• Fixed an issue causing the 1000hz influence to stop working.
• Fixed an issue where players could fall through textures near the vase at Haitz-Höchsten station.
• Fixed the EZB building at Frankfurt so it now appears at a further distance.
• Fixed multiple floating objects across the route. No more haunted dustbins.
• Fixed multiple floating tracks across the route. No more haunted tracks.
• Fixed an issue causing trees to clip through overhead lines and locos on the route.

• Fixed an issue causing red text to appear when interacting with the blinds.

• BR 423 tutorial will now inform players that controls will need to be set to immersion when classic controls are enabled.

• Fixed an issue where the speedometer display would show 0 after switching to external cameras.

• Fixed the green "T" door symbol not indicating that the doors are open.
• Fixed an issue where the speedometer display would show 0 after switching to external cameras.

West Coat Mainline: London Euston – Milton Keynes
• Fixed an issue causing the objective to get stuck on ‘Set throttle/brake to P1’ during the Heavy Traffic scenario.
• Fixed an issue in Scenario Designer for WCML South causing the trophy name to not be displayed in English.

• Added more foliage on the disused track at Schifferstadt.

• Fixed an entry signal into Mannheim displaying the wrong Ks3 speed for the BR406.
Dosto
• Adjusted gangway door behaviour so it will remain locked between the loco and coaches.

Ruhr Sieg Nord
• Fixed an issue where the speedometer display would show 0 after switching to external cameras on BR 185.

Cane Creek
• Fixed the digital display screen on the AC4400CW so that pressing the '5' key opens the slow speed control page.

ECML Diesel Railtour Pack
• Fixed an issue with the Driver Safety Device that prevented it from being acknowledged.
• Extended the emergency duration of the Driver Safety Device.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the cab window frame from animating correctly with its respective glass pane.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the headlight from activating via shortcut key.
• Changed the operation of the headlight switch to be a toggle instead of a lever.
• Added appropriate resting sockets for disconnected air hoses on the Class 47.
• Fixed an issue that prevented the Mk1 Coach doors from having proper collision.
• Fixed an issue with the Mk1 Coach doors that enabled them to be opened without first opening the window.
