A couple of quick questions

Are you ever planning to look at the crashing issue on LIRR commuter on PS5 when it rains anywhere close to Jamaca? It's been over 6 months already

Also, will you be looking into a patch for PS5 pro at some point. I know it's not a priority with all the more pressing issues but it shows improvements without any work done and been hearing of a high frequency mode for the CPU which could really help with TSW5

 

Is there any plan to fix the issue of the br 114 brakes on frankfurt fulda or is that just another one of the bugs consigned to the never getting fixed list, along with the rest. I'd like to know how you plan to fit in fixing bugs in the busy release schedule, or is it just a case of pumping out content after content?

 

To be fair, it does say expecting to release in the autumn. Not that it will release in the autumn.

In regards to the WCML South update, will it be available on Series S, or will it not be available for Series S? If it is available for Series S, will it offer everything exactly the same as what Series X gets, or will it be different? How will it be different?

Same thing for WCML North. Will the gameplay on Series S be the same as on Series X? If not, how will it be different? Thank you.

 

yes. They specifically said for the gameplay pack only, it will be gen 9 and pc. They never said gen8 will never get routes

Question/Consideration request for DTG. As it is linked to the content of the roadmap I have put it here rather than in suggestions.

Lots of us bought the TSW5 release in good faith, but as you have acknowledged the game is far below the standard it should be with memory issues, and plenty of bugs and missing services on the WCML. I have personally enjoyed the game, when it has worked, but I have also been affected my these issues. While it sounds like the WCML will be much improved in the next update, you mentioned the performance issues will likely take until after the holidays to be increased. I’ve taken this to mean until after Christmas, so likely in the new year. This is of course a long time to be without a stable core, but I understand the timeframe cannot be helped.

Could DTG please consider releasing a promotion to recognise the issues we have faced so far with the substandard launch? For example, it could be something like you did when you partnered with Focus to offer the French High Speed route for free. Just something to recognise that this has taken a long time to fix and affected our experience of the game.

My personal suggestion, to cover for the fact that people will already own various different things, would be email a copy of your proof of purchase for TSW5 paid bundles (not for the free starter pack) and receive a key for an add on of your choice. I think probably this gesture of goodwill would go some way in restoring trust in DTG from affected players.

Isn’t it 710/2 on the WCML currently? Perhaps 710/3 is new with the new timetable courtesy of Fawx . I do think it’s really cool DTG is working with the community, and I hope we see Fawx ’s work on more routes. JetWash ’s too.

1) Could we possibly have more functionality with the TMS Screen on the Class 390?
2) Will we have a 'unbranded Caledonian Sleeper Train' (If licence is not available for it)
3) With The whole range of services, will the missing ECS Class 390 services back to Wembley Intercity Depot be included and also missing AI 390 Services and Missing 390 playable services be included. (I know it states over 2000+ services so just want reassurance.
4) Any news on the Dutch route as it has been a bit silent on that and not heard much of it?

Yes! I wasn't happy that the 5 car 710 was left out, but it's great to see it's been added in.

 

In terms of the Marston Vale AI mentioned. What stock will be used for this. In reality it is a 150/1 which isn't in game, so will a 150/2 be used instead in the non-branded LNWR livery?

 

Possibly a modified 484 from IoW as it think the route is set when the 230s operated the Bedford-Bletchley route

 

Not sure when the WCMLS timetable is actually set? They operated between 2019 and end 2022. Class 150s since end 2023. Nothing operated the route over most of 2023!

 

It is Set as the current WCML Timetable atm.

Any plans to improve the headlights? The lights of oncoming trains are unrealistic - a detail that disturbs me the most. In real life the lights are visible from miles away.

 

Any news for Pfälzische Ludwigsbahn? Something changed for the rolling stock plans?

so was it at first was it that you guys didn't have enough time to improve WCML south before its initial release back then and that we dont get the better quality of the route until now?

Considering that from suggestions it begins from licencing said train, were there any rejects in the past that you had tried to bring in a speific train however it was rejected due to specific reasons.

is it really true that we have a community appeal system in place? I have seen tons of suggestions suggesting a specific train (class 91 for this case) yet no plans were ever made for this to possibly to come in. Or is this for some reason also have some trouble as well bringing it into the game?

We will ever get from longer routes from DTGs if Just Train is able to make an 100 mile route fully recreating the over shap from TSC. Can we see DTG commit to this as well even with time constraints.

 

Depends on the route itself. A route with lots of stations but short will still take a really long time. A route can be long with many stations which takes even longer. If a route has fewer stations, then it might take less but it doesn't make the work easier or quicker.

I don't think anyone would like 1 dlc every other year either. Remember 3rd parties can take their time. 100 miles of track is a lot
