Of course the cynic in me says some of the oft requested real items could have been in there and still been regarded as April Fool’s…

We have expanded the Save game to five slots.
We have introduced some more graphics options.
Rivet will never be allowed near the route editor again.
We are working on a new GWR steam route and overhauling steam physics generally.
Modern era has been abandoned and all future UK routes will be BR Blue Classic or earlier.
A Class 55 Deltic is coming.
The RMB buffet car is coming.

In the other thread I was thinking it could be a 59 which would be Mendip Stone. OTOH that would require a Freightliner licence, unless set back in time, as I believe they took the traffic from DBS a few years back.

 

Who needs super detailed trains anyway when you can drive cardboard cut out buses dipped in red paint .

That replacement bus thing would genuinely be a great idea for a scenario. And, very realistic of course
Groningen station will be closed to trains for a month in may/june IRL (because of the next phase of the renovations) > great chance for DTG to create a scenario

No, the 67 has continuous corrugation along the body, either just a 66 or the 59, I hope it’s not the latter though, if the first modern UK freight loco after all these years is a derivative of the one most of us are bored of, it won’t be great.

 

Could it be a 77 in ECR livery (now DB Cargo France)? To drive on continental routes? If you mirror the image, the roadmap is where the logo would be.

 

The nerve DTG has !! I refuse to drive any replacement bus service if the bus isn't pink !

I clicked on the road link and the first thing I read was: A road is a thoroughfare used primarily for movement of traffic. Roads differ from streets, whose primary use is local access. They also differ from stroads, which combine the features of streets and roads. Most modern roads are paved.

Replacement bus has to either be a Bristol Lodekka, Bristol RE/RELH, Bristol VR or a Daimler CVG6. Accept no substitute.

 

The cut-out paper version. So if you drive through the Regionalbahnhof, you can stick it to the screen and imagine that it's Fernbahnhof.

I appreciate the humor and I'll leave a friendly suggestion about the collectable

Being able to teleport to different stations makes finding collectables a lot easier though the ones hidden randomly around map still requires quite the time sink to find without a guide

Some more fast travel destinations like crossings, sidings, etc would go a long ways to making that less of a slog. Or maybe adding a map marker for ones you've spotted from a moving train but not picked up yet

 

Oh thank you thank you thank you DTG for enforcing passenger satisfaction! My immersion was so ruined as a sat in my bedroom eating chips and staring at my computer screen, thinking about how the trains were operating despite the fact that passengers had no route maps to look at, or flowers to smell, or fully eaten pizzas, and no goblins to listen to and no neatly folded scarves. This new feature has finally made Train Sim World 5 playable for me. Thank you Dovetail Games!

 

Yes, and I’d also like some user-generated fast travel points for favourite locations in game. I often have to tend to other things while driving (in game) and always try to set up a webcam-esque shot for the standby!

 

They could potentially make every signal on the map a fast travel point, that would definitely help with the collectables.
