I have been wondering this for some time but I keep forgetting to post about it. As with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, you can get a joystick, the throttle, and other switches. I have researched train simulator controls that could work with Train Sim World, but I am not sure what would be best. I would love to hear what you can suggest. I would like to transition into a rail-based career iRL with ScotRail as either a driver or conductor in the future, but preferably the driving role. I know TSW won't be as realistic as the actual thing, but I believe it has the fundamentals.
Without going the DIY route, the rail driver & stream deck is a good combo. I have seen reports that Raildriver isn’t working correctly on TSW5 though.
