Just downloaded train sim world 2 but can't download preserved routes from the original just says I have to buy them what to do
You don’t say what, if any routes you have previously bought for TSW2020. Maybe a stupid question on my part but you do know that you can only download preserved collection routes that you have previously purchased for TSW2020? If you have the original game and have purchased the routes, then the Xbox store should show you as owning them and will allow you to download them If you have purchased the routes on disc, then there is a separate sticky thread that gives you details of how to obtain the TSW2 versions.
The routes came with original tsw2020 Long Island and northern trans penne and main spessart and base routes great western but I got train sim world 2 today it says on Xbox store saying I have to pay for them though tsw2
did you purchase TSW2020 or do you have it on gamepass? If you have it on gamepass, you do not own the routes and would need to purchase them. If you own TSW2020 (and not through gamepass) then the advice above should be correct.
Your best bet if you want those routes in TSW2 is to buy TSW2020 and install it. Then you will be able to download all the routes from TSW2020 into TSW2 as well. Currently you do not own TSW2020 as you access it through Gamepass.
