    • Which branch lines are included in Rush Hour routes?
Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour - Boston Sprinter - Includes the Stoughton branch.

Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour - Nahverkehr Dresden - Includes Großenhain, Cottbuser Bahnhof.

(Note: Meißen and Dresden Flughafen branches are not included)

Train Sim World 2: Rush Hour - London Commuter - Includes the Reigate branch.
So am I right in thinking a branch is being added ?

Really looking forward to the Meißen branch and Brighton Mainline. In the top intro it say the BML is in Upcoming but its still in production.

Did someone ask from some extra branches on Riesa-Dresden?

Great to see this has been readded to the route, but what I want to ask is A: Does that mean the Flugharen branch will be readded at a later date? and B: What changed your mind about those branches?

Also, two new US heavy freights routes have been added, Sherman Hill & Horseshore Curve, the later of which from Skyhook Games.

Plus the 1938 Tube Stock from Rivet Games seems imminent as it is now in the upcoming section.

    Overall, a pretty great roadmap.

Praying to the DTG and Skyhook overlords, that the ES44AC and SD70ACe have decent sounds. Please don't re-use the AC44CW Vacuum whine or default SPG horn!

"The anticipated wait before London Commuter is a little longer than the gap between Boston Sprinter and Nahverkehr Dresden but it's progressed to the point of testing and polish and moves up to the Upcoming section of the Roadmap as a result".

    1. London Commuter isn't actually in 'upcoming'. Is this a mistake or is the above misworded.

    2. DTG should really have just been honest that Rush Hour would extend into Autumn rather than drag everyone along thinking it would be 'All summer long'. October is NOT summer by any definition.

I presume this is the branch without the Airport station that was causing so many problems, seems a decent solution.

That’s a good Roadmap. Order will be restored to the world with what it contains. A horseshoe for good luck, the mighty SD70 and a branch being glued back on a broken tree.

Why is "[Ongoing] Rush Hour passenger system" in the "Upcoming" section and not in the "In Production" section?

Does that mean new passengers are added to all routes and are awaiting testing or is it just that the point was misplaced?

So I'm assuming we won't have to pay for the added branch line, will it be available to download as soon as it's released?

Also, I'm glad London to Brighton is getting some more time for refinement as I'm sure everyone has high expectations for the route.

    Seriously does it matter?

Do you want it to work out the box or just be another rushed job then you'll all be moaning on how they rushed it out?
    What do you want?
Give them the time they need!

Jeez, the file size is now less than half than it used to be. Of course it is significant, and a very welcome change!

DTG can't "extend" routes linking different DLCs with their current tech. This will be a DLC update that you will receive in the same way you receive Preservation Crew updates or any other update to DLC.

A “good news” roadmap for sure.
I’ve been looking forward to the 1938 stock for a good while now so I’m glad that it has moved to “upcoming”.

As for London-Brighton, bring it out when it is ready. If it’s October, so be it. Don’t rush things.

I’m not a fan of US freight but i might give Sherman Hill a look. Reminds me of Dobwalls theme park in Cornwall which I used to go to regularly when my kids were younger. They had a couple of miniature railways and one of them simulated Sherman Hill in miniature. Sadly, it’s closed now though. There’s some good footage on the Video 125 HST Far West release.

I'm surprised people are saying this is a good roadmap. It might just be my lack of enthusiasm for US Freight routes. I guess it's neat that Riesa Dresden is getting one of the branches back but I was never that invested in the route to begin with.

I will point out that (unless I missed something like an idiot) there's no sign of the catenary fix for Boston Sprinter despite being led to believe it's only weeks away. Not only that but there's no sign of a fix for the broken signaling/ safety systems on the horizon, which I remember Matt discussing in a previous stream. That's why this roadmap has left a bad taste in my mouth. I just want these issues fixed so I can properly enjoy what's otherwise a fantastic route.

At the very least I'm glad they're giving themselves extra time to polish BML. Let's hope they've saved the best for last.

Super excited to see both of the US freight routes! SO many possibilities with both of them and future DLC as well. Please once steam arrives in the game consider UP Big Boy 4014 would be an amazing dlc for Sherman Hill. PRR K4 1361 or PRR T1 5550 for Horseshoe Curve! One is being built now, the other under restoration.

I have a quite private note for DTG and the other developers.
I'm keeping it quite small so that people scrolling through won't see it.
    Even smaller...

Stop putting the AC4400, the GP38-2 and SD40-2 in every single US DLC; thank you.

    Sincerely, the community.

Also an SD80MAC or SD70ACU would be great for the Horseshoe curve as well!

Adding 1 of the 2 branches back what a great surprise.

Thank you DTG. I love surprises like this.

Now if only you could fix the cab texture glitch issue on Xbox then I will be able play some routes finally.

He's actually been posting screenshots of it, saying he's aiming for a mid-October release (if testing goes well), so I think that must be a mistake.

Credit where credit is due, I believe adding the Meißen branch back to the route post release is a splendid way of saying "we understood your disappointment and criticism." This really makes me happy and even if the Airport line will not come back, it is a fair concession/middle ground in my opinion. Adding to that that Matt and the team are planning on expanding the Dresden timetable some more, The Dresden Mainline route might not end up being the glorious eagle we all hoped for, but it will certainly be more than a clipped chicken that can't fly.

Thank you DTG for restoring some faith in me!
