I'm stuck in 1st person inside the cabs on all loco's, no mouse or cursor movement apart from left and right cab side swap, no matter what combination of mouse and buttons will get me the correct cab drivers panel view. I can simply see the very top of drivers control panel and the windscreen view. I can't look up, down, left , right and have only HUD controls. Also the graphics have started to look very weak like back in the days of super mario and I have chunks of graphics missing like a road that goes into grass and stone and graphic rendering just in front of the train as it's moving.

Right mouse click, hold and move the mouse around.

Does your PC meet the required minimum spec to run TS 2021?

Close TS. then try renaming/deleting the playerprofiles.bin file in the Content\Routes folder then restart TS and it will rebuild the associated files which you can reset in TS settings. Make sure you are using a Windows standard type pointer for the mouse.

I cannot find the playerprofiles.bin file, I followed this path. C: program files (x86): steam: steamapps: common: railworks: content: Routes: the page has 20 plus files all with numbers.

My bad - apologies:( It is located here \STEAM\steamapps\common\RailWorks\Content - NOT Routes.

Do you have TrackIR or something similar? Even if you're not using it the software may be active and this is known to interfere with TS preventing moving the view with the mouse.

Hi Peter, I deleted the file and restarted the game, still no good BUT, I did use Track IR on a different game to no avail but it's still on my PC. I will delete the old programme and try again. I will let you know how it goes.Thanks.

TrackIR does work with TS- Matt P. uses it in his videos and it looks quite effective.

Peter Hayes, top marks, it now works after deleting TrackIR, no idea why BUT, the view inside the cab is very magnified and I can't zoom out. It seems like it's magnified times 2 or 3.

Check the Field of View slider in the camera options.

JJTimothy, thanks loads, just found that and I'm back to normal now. Now for some new locos and routes. Thank you to all who helped me sort this out.
