I'm going to do a monthly development insight into one mod I release within the current month (e.g July for this one) whether it has released or not to explain what goes on behind-the-scenes July's 'Development Insight': Case Study: (TG08) FLIXTRAIN (BR 193) We chat to the OP of this thread, TrainGeek08 to talk about the livery (below) '(TG08) FLIXTRAIN (BR 193)' that released last week Why FLIXTRAIN? TrainGeek08: "I wanted to make the FLIXTRAIN livery in anticipation of me making some scenarios involving the operator coming in September so wanted to make a livery for that purpose." Did you enjoy making the livery? TG08: "Yes, I enjoyed making this livery and I hope that my upcoming scenarios in September do it justice. This goes for everyone but go ahead and use my reskin in your scenarios and I will play them as a way of thanks for using my reskin and this one is a good one to get your hands on too. I'll put a link at the end of this segment for you guys to download this for your own custom scenarios." How long did it take you to create this masterpiece? TG08: "This livery took me an hour and forty-five minutes to complete as I had to do the technical information on the sides of the locomotive and make the FLIXTRAIN logo out of shapes." Will you use it in future scenarios? TG08: "Yes, like I said at the beginning, I have two scenarios planning to use this livery, which release in September. One is a FLIXTRAIN service from Cologne to Aachen on SKA and the other is a service from Bochum to Duisburg on its way to Aachen where it has to divert due to a broken-down train in the Wattenscheid area on HRR, so its gonna be a good month for this livery being used." How popular is the livery on Creators Club since release? TG08: "As of right now, it has 143 subscribers (and counting), so it may become my third best-received mod on Creators Club if it continues at the rate it is growing at." Did you like making this livery or your MRCE Vectron more and why? TG08: "I liked doing this livery way more for sure, because I had to do a technique I have seen used by other creators and one that I have not done before. I had to make the FLIXTRAIN logo out of shapes, most of the letters look accurate but the 'R' and 'A' look scruffy with those rough edges at the top but for the most part, I think it worked!"
